Questions worth answering before you pay
Do you charge per user or developer?
No. Every plan includes unlimited users and developers. Your price is based on the workload you run, not the size of your team.
What is a normalized minute?
One minute on 2 vCPU. A four-vCPU job burns two normalized minutes per wall-clock minute, and a 2 vCPU job burns one. Every plan and the overage rate use the same unit, so usage is comparable across runner sizes.
Can I get a surprise bill?
No. Set a monthly hard spend cap, or turn overage off entirely so jobs stop at your included allowance instead of billing further. Budget alerts fire before you reach either limit.
Is there a free tier or a trial?
There is no free tier. Every plan opens with a 3-day trial: one concurrent job and up to 200 normalized minutes of build time, billed at $0.005 per minute. A payment method is required, the most a trial can cost is $1, and cancelling inside the window means no plan charge. Compatibility checking and migration stay free and unlimited without an account.
Am I locked in?
No. Billing is monthly, you can cancel any time, and there is no annual contract. Runnable reads standard Actions-compatible workflow files, so the config you bring is the config you keep.
What is not supported?
The current runner is Linux x64 only and does not support job containers. Jobs and steps support up to six hours; native services and OIDC are supported. Write-scoped repository tokens still require both an explicit workflow permission and the matching GitHub App grant. Run the checker before migrating.
